We place great importance on the protection of your privacy, and we will show you below how we process your data.
Smart Business 4.0 Sàrl offers numerous services to help you manage your business, including a platform to host your own database of our various management software.
As part of the operation of these services, we collect data about you and your business. This data is not only essential for the functioning of our services but also for the security of our services and all our clients.
This policy explains what information is collected, why it is collected, and how we use it.

The majority of the personal data we collect is directly provided by our clients when they complete our contact form and use our services. Other data is collected by recording interactions with our services.
Browser data: When you visit our website and access our online services, we detect and store the language and geolocation of your browser in order to personalise your experience based on your country and preferred language. Our servers also passively record a summary of the information sent by your browser for statistical, security, and legal purposes:
  • your IP address,
  • the date and time of your visit and the page or resource you wish to access,
  • the version and platform of your browser,
  • and the web page that directed you to our website.
Your browser can also be used to store and retrieve data from your current session, using a session cookie (see also the section on Cookies for more details).
Form protection: some forms on our website may be protected by Google reCAPTCHA.
This technology relies on heuristics based on the technical characteristics of your browser and device, and may also use specific Google cookies. Please also refer to Google's Privacy Policy and Terms of Service in the section on Third-Party Service Providers below.
Account Data & Contact Information: We use your contact information to provide our services, respond to your queries, and for billing and account management purposes. We may also use this information for marketing and communication purposes (our marketing messages always include an option to unsubscribe at any time). We also use this data in an aggregated/anonymised form to analyse service trends.
If you have registered for an event published on our website, we may share your name, email address, phone number, and company name with our local organiser and the event sponsors for direct marketing purposes and to facilitate the preparations and booking of the event.
Browser data: This automatically recorded data is analysed anonymously in order to maintain and improve our services. Google reCAPTCHA may also be used for security purposes, to prevent any abuse of our services. In this case, we only process the anonymous score that reCAPTCHA defines based on your browser and device.
We only correlate this data with your personal data when required by law or for security purposes, if you have violated our Acceptable Use Policy.
Customer databases: We only collect and process this data on your behalf, in order to execute the services you have subscribed to and based on the instructions you have explicitly provided during the registration or setup of your service.
Our support teams and engineers can access this information in a limited and reasonable manner in order to resolve any issues related to our services or to assist you at your explicit request or if required by law, or to ensure the security of our services in the event of a breach of our Acceptable Use Policy.


Account Data & Contact Information: You have the right to access and update the personal data you have previously provided to us. You can do this at any time by logging into your personal account. If you wish to permanently delete your account or your personal data for legitimate reasons, please contact us to make the request. We will take all reasonable measures to permanently delete your personal data, unless we are required to retain it for legal reasons (generally for administrative, billing, and tax reporting purposes).
Customer databases: You can manage all the data collected in your databases hosted on at any time s-business.ch using your administrative credentials, including modifying or deleting any personal data stored therein.
You can export a complete backup of your database at any time via our control panel, in order to transfer it or manage your own backups/archives. You are responsible for processing this data in accordance with all privacy regulations.
You can also request the deletion of your entire database at any time via your control panel.
When you use the database upgrade service, your data is automatically deleted after the upgrade is successful, and it can also be deleted at your request.
We are aware of the importance and sensitivity of your data
As part of the SaaS services:
  • the data is processed solely on behalf of the client
  • the client remains responsible for the data

We are aware of the importance and sensitivity of your personal data, and we implement numerous measures to ensure that this data is processed, stored, and preserved securely against data loss and unauthorised access. Our technical, administrative, and organisational security measures are described in detail in our Security Policy.
We engage several service providers to manage our operations. They assist us with various services, such as payment processing, web audience analysis, cloud hosting, marketing, and communication, etc.
Every time we share data with these service providers, we ensure that they use it in accordance with data protection legislation, and that the processing they carry out on our behalf is limited to our specific purpose and is covered by a specific data processing agreement.

Account Data & Contact Information: We only retain this data for as long as necessary to achieve the purpose for which it was collected, as stated in this policy, including any legal retention period or the time required to carry out a legitimate and reasonable promotion of our products and services.
Browser data: we may retain this data for a maximum of 12 months, unless we need to keep it in relation to a legitimate concern regarding the security or performance of our services or as required by law. Any server-side session information is deleted no later than 7 days after it has ceased to be actively used.
Server logs & Security logs: we retain these logs for a maximum period of 12 months, unless we need to keep them due to a legitimate concern related to security or the performance of our services, or if required by law.
Unless explicitly stated otherwise, we do not sell, exchange, or transfer your personal data to third parties. We may share or disclose aggregated or anonymised information for research purposes, or to discuss trends or statistics with third parties.
Cookies are small pieces of text sent by our servers to your computer or device when you access our services. They are stored in your browser and sent back to our servers later so that we can provide contextual content. Without cookies, using the web would be a much more frustrating experience. We use them to support your activities on our website, for example, your session (so you don’t have to log in again) or your basket.
Cookies are also used to help us understand your preferences based on your previous or current activity on our website (the pages you have visited), your language and country, which allows us to provide you with enhanced services. We also use cookies to help us compile aggregated data on traffic and interaction on the site, so that we can offer better experiences and improved tools in the future.

We do not currently support the Do Not Track feature, as there is no industry standard for compliance.
We may need to update this privacy policy to clarify, reflect any changes on our website, or comply with legal obligations. The mention "Last updated" at the top of the policy indicates the most recent revision, which is also the effective date of these changes. We provide you with access to all archived versions of this policy, so you can see the changes.
